The Live BMS app does not collect your data. It talks directly to your batteries over Bluetooth and stores readings on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking.
Deleting the app deletes this data. Nothing is retained by us because nothing reaches us.
The optional Link relay is what makes remote monitoring possible. If you choose to use one, the readings from the batteries you point it at travel over your Wi-Fi to a cloud relay so your phone can read them when you're away. That data is limited to battery telemetry and the device identifiers needed to route it to your account, and it is not sold or shared. Using the app without a Link means no data leaves your phone at all. This section will be expanded with specifics before any hardware ships.
livebms.app is a static site hosted on Netlify. There are no forms, no sign-ups, no cookies set by this site, and no analytics or tracking scripts. If you email the address below, I have your email — that's the only way this site learns anything about you. Netlify records standard server logs (IP address, browser, page requested) as part of serving the site.
Live BMS is rated 4+ and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and any material change will be noted in the app's release notes.
